Liverpool are all smiles after MASSIVE injury boost
Liverpool were breathing sighs of relief this week after a massive injury boost for Arne Slot's squad.
Liverpool transfer news today: Agent CONFIRMS offer as wonderkid deal moves closer
Despite sitting at the top of the Premier League and finishing top of the league phase in the UEFA Champions League, Liverpool haven't had it all their own way with injuries this season. They've simply been a bit lucky with who has been injured.

They've avoided injuries to Virgil van Dijk, Ryan Gravenberch and Mo Salah, for instance. The trio have been the most important players in each area of the pitch and fortunately, ever-present.
But some key players have been missing. Diogo Jota, for instance, just can't stay consistently fit. He's missed a serious chunk of game time this season and every time he's back, it's not long before he's gone again.
Alisson Becker is another who missed an incredible amount of time this season. Caoimhin Kelleher felt like the club's no.1 goalkeeper as he stood between the sticks for some of the biggest games of the entire campaign.
Liverpool, though, moved past those injury woes and now they're in pole position to win the biggest trophies. What they now need is some proper injury luck - can't have the stars dropping now with it all on the line.
So with that in mind, they got a serious injury boost this week.
Trent Alexander-Arnold's injury
Trent Alexander-Arnold left the pitch against Bournemouth with an injury, sparking concerns that he could now miss the next while. A thigh injury risked interrupting his season.
One that could, it should be said, be his last with Liverpool.
But it seems Liverpool avoided a disaster. The Times reports that Alexander-Arnold hasn't suffered anything like a serious injury.
The Scouser is a doubt to face Tottenham Hotspur in the EFL Cup semi-final second leg on Thursday but that should be the extent of this one. Liverpool won't take any risks with Alexander-Arnold as Conor Bradley is available, so things are actually quite comfortable.
This is the best news Liverpool could really have gotten out of the situation. They knew there was a problem with Alexander-Arnold - he wasn't avoiding any injury at all - but this appears to be very minor.
