Star forward in danger of missing TWO Liverpool matches
Liverpool can move one step closer to their 20th league title with a win at Craven Cottage against Fulham.
The players will be fully focussed on securing a result, but one of the Reds’ key forwards is at real risk of suspension.

The reverse fixture against Fulham saw Liverpool go down to 10 men after just 17 minutes and, although Arne Slot’s side manage to rescue a point at Anfield, the Reds will be looking for a more controlled performance in London.
Owing to Arsenal’s draw with Everton on Saturday the pressure is reduced slightly on Slot’s side in the Premier League title race, but a key man is dangerously close to a two-game ban that could still affect the run-in.
Darwin Nunez at risk of Premier League suspension
Liverpool’s no.9 is facing an uncertain future at Anfield after a disappointing season, but things could soon get even worse for the Uruguayan.
Darwin Nunez has been booked eight times in the Premier League this season, more than any other Liverpool player, and if he receives a yellow card against Fulham and is booked again in the following match against West Ham, he will receive a two-match ban.
EXCLUSIVE: Liverpool ENTER Hugo Ekitike talks
After picking up a booking against Everton mid-week, the 25-year-old risks missing crucial games in the run-in if he is cautioned again.
There is some relief for the Reds however, as the threshold for a ban increases from 10 to 15 yellow cards after the completion of the team’s 32nd match.
Essentially, if Nunez can avoid being booked in either of Liverpool’s next two matches he will avoid a ban, but anything is possible with the former Benfica man.
Nunez’s Liverpool future
The enigmatic forward may be about to get his hands on his first league title in Europe, but it increasingly looks as though his future beyond this summer is away from Merseyside.
A bid of around £70 million from Saudi Arabia for the striker was rejected in January, as exclusively revealed by Anfield Watch, and it is believed there is still interest from the Saudi Pro League.
A number of suitors in Europe could also emerge for Nunez depending on the asking price Liverpool set, and recent reports even suggested the Uruguayan could be a makeweight in a deal for Alexander Isak – but this has since been contested.

All eyes will be on Darwin Nunez to maintain his composure in Liverpool’s next two fixtures, although a booking for over-celebrating a late winner might be forgiven.
