He has become an essential part of Liverpool’s identity, winning the ball back with stunning precision and becoming press-resistant, allowing Liverpool’s attacks to free flow into the space he has created.

And all of this despite being only 22 years old and having joined Liverpool from Bayern Munich at the end of the 2023 summer transfer window.

In fact, his rise has come so quickly that he hasn’t even been able to sell the house that he lived in in Amsterdam when he played for Ajax.

Gravenberch puts property up for rent

According to Dutch culture site JFK, Gravenberch is now renting out his central Amsterdam apartment - and the price is eye-watering.

“A luxury apartment in Amsterdam in a nice location, you can ask quite a lot of rent for that,” reads the article.

Ryan Gravenberch knows that too, despite the fact that he lives in Liverpool, which is why he asks more than 3,250 euros per month for this apartment. In addition, the tenant must also pay a one-time deposit of 6,500 euros.”

That’s around £2,700 per month just for the rent which is staggering, even by current market standards.

The article goes on to explain that “The house on Potgieterstraat is equipped with luxurious, new furniture and a new floor. In total, the tenant gets 75 square meters of living space, divided over two floors. There are also two bedrooms”.

75 square meters isn’t a seismic amount of space, particularly not for the price Gravenberch is charging.

Compare this to Jurgen Klopp’s £4.25m mansion which recently went on sale and we can see the differences in the way the other half life, even between themselves.

Let’s hope his Merseyside apartment has more room. With all the trophies Liverpool could win with him in the side, he’s going to need it.
