Liverpool FC news recap: Star asks to leave as Salah gets MASSIVE offer
Here's all your latest Liverpool FC news.
Mo Salah's offer
There are finally indications that the club are prepared to rip up the rule book in order to keep Mo Salah on.
Several outlets have reported that contract offers have been sent to Salah, albeit at a late stage. And a French report has revealed details of those terms. Salah has been offered a two-year deal at €400,000 per week.
A straight-up, two-year extension on Salah’s current wages - reported to be £350,000 per week in English money.
Leaked Adidas training kit
It comes as no surprise that Liverpool’s training kits for next season have now been leaked on social media.
According to the reliable Footy Headlines, there will be three different colour ways for the new training gear, with the home training shirt being predominantly ‘Off-white’ with red logos and black side panels.
As for the away training shirt, the colour scheme is reversed. The main colour of black with red logos and white panels.
Real Madrid could cancel Trent Alexander-Arnold plan
Per El Desmarque, Real Madrid are heading into the January transfer window with a plan. That plan is a dull one, admittedly: no new signings.
They don't want to spend any money this month and won't sign anyone. Unless Alexander-Arnold would move.
He's the one player they would apparently abandon those plans for. We imagine that's because any deal for him would be a cheap one and dramatically increase their chances of retaining the UEFA Champions League.
Chiesa wants out
Anfield Watch revealed that the 27-year-old is homesick, dislikes the weather and is struggling with the physicality of the game in England. Furthermore, Chiesa is yet to make a positive impression on the training field with his attitude and application.
Now comes the news from TBR Football that Chiesa’s entourage has admitted to Liverpool that he would like to leave and the club are open to the idea.
The report adds that Chiesa is ‘hugely frustrated’ over his situation at Liverpool.
