Liverpool FC news recap: Salah's SERIOUS injury, Nunez HITS milestone & PREDICTED Reds finish
Liverpool supporters' worst fears have been realised with Mohamed Salah's agent confirming that the Egyptian's injury is more serious than first reported.
The winger could miss up to a month of action in total after injuring himself on international duty, his agent Ramy Abbas Issa taking to X to confirm the worrying update on Salah's fitness.
"Mohammed’s injury is more serious than first thought and he will be out for 21-28 days, and not 2 games," said Issa.
Salah could miss the rest of the Africa Cup of Nations with Egypt, as well as a number of important games for Liverpool.

JURGEN KLOPP'S CURTIS JONES UPDATE
Despite Liverpool enjoying a fruitful trip to Bournemouth at the weekend, beating the in-form Cherries 4-0, there was still one minor concern on the south coast.
Curtis Jones limped off injured in the second half at the Vitality Stadium, with the Reds desperate to avoid more injuries in their engine room.
Fortunately, Jurgen Klopp didn't think Jones' injury was too serious, although the club will have to do further scans to get a full understanding of the situation.
"Curtis, the very experienced player, thought ‘it’s 3-0, why should I risk it?’ – I hope that’s exactly how it was," said Klopp after the match.

While Liverpool's goalscorers and defenders received the majority of praise against Bournemouth, Alexis Mac Allister put in his best performance in a Liverpool shirt to date on Sunday.
The Argentine was rock solid at the base of Liverpool's midfield, even breaking an eight-season record with his incredible defensive work.
Mac Allister won possession 15 times, came out on top in 14 duels and made a mighty nine tackles against the Cherries in an all-action display.
With Wataru Endo missing after an impressive run in the team, Mac Allister has certainly stepped up to the plate.

DARWIN NUNEZ REACHES NEW MILESTONE AFTER BRACE
Darwin Nunez has had his critics since joining Liverpool, but he has gone along way to silencing them this season. The Reds needed him to provide against Bournemouth in Salah's absence and that's exactly what he did.
The Uruguayan became one of only four Liverpool players in the Premier League era to reach ten goals and ten assists this quickly in a season, joining Steven Gerrard, Luis Suarez and Salah.
Both of Nunez's goals against Bournemouth showed great composure, something he has lacked at times since arriving in England.
The 24-year-old's double against the Cherries took his tally to 100 goals in his senior career, 24 of which have come for the Reds.

OPTA PREDICTS LIVERPOOL'S TITLE CHANCES
Opta's supercomputer has predicted Liverpool's Premier League title chances following the Reds' 4-0 victory over Bournemouth on Sunday.
Klopp's side have been given just a 36.6% chance of winning the Premier League this season, with Opta offering the Reds a 47.6% chance of finishing as runners-up.
Manchester City remain the favourites for the title, boasting a 59.7% chance of retaining their crown.
