Liverpool FC News: Another youngster with famous dad makes Reds debut - the resemblance is uncanny

Liverpool fans have another familiar name to watch out for on the club's books.

The Reds have made a recent habit of finding gems whose dads were also professional players.

Lewis Koumas' father Jason started out at the Liverpool academy back in the 90s — but never made a first-team appearance, unlike his son — was a regular for Wigan, West Brom and Wales.

Jayden Danns' dad Neil also spent time on the Reds' books and become a seasoned pro at a host of clubs on the English football pyramid including Crystal Palace and Bolton, while he currently works as Tranmere's assistant manager.

Bobby Clark too is the son of ex-Newcastle man Lee Clark, while 17-year-old academy forward Keyrol Figueroa (yet to make a senior appearance) is the offspring of Maynor Figueroa, the former Wigan and Honduras defender who once scored from inside his own half.

Second generation talent is quite the running theme at LFC and great nostalgic content for fans old enough to have watched multiple family members in action over the years.

As if all that wasn't enough though, Prince Kobe Cisse has now made his debut for Liverpool Under-18s.

Yes, you guessed it, Prince is the son of eccentric former Liverpool front man Djibril who spent two seasons at Anfield between 2004 and 2006.

Now 42, Cisse Snr scored 24 goals in 82 appearances for the Reds and was a part of the squad that won both the Champions League and FA Cup under Rafa Benitez.

Almost 20 years on from Cisse's signing, it has been reported that his son made his debut for the Under-18s in a friendly against ISI Academy at the Axa Training Centre.

Though Prince, who has also been capped for Wales at Under-16 level, has been a part of the Liverpool set-up for some time already, this was his first outing for the Under-18s at the age of just 15, suggesting he has a bright future at the club.

While no footage has been posted from the game, Prince's Instagram shows the clear resemblance to his famous father.

Meanwhile, Cisse Snr was also in action for the Reds this weekend, rolling back the years to score for Liverpool Legends in the 4-2 win over Ajax Legends at Anfield on Saturday.

Amazingly, there is a possible future in which Prince Cisse could line up in attack for his dad's old club alongside Koumas and Danns... And the son of a former Everton hero. Yet another academy star with a famous dad is Zac Jagielka.

No prizes for guessing who he is the son of.
