Liverpool FC News: Pep SACKED in massive win for Reds
Life under Arne Slot has been pretty rosy for Liverpool so far.
The club sits at the top of both the Premier League and the Champions League table and look like one of the most in form European teams at the moment.

Juxtaposed by the struggles of Liverpool's main rivals, primarily Manchester City, but also Arsenal, things are looking very encouraging at Anfield.
Already it seems like Slot's side will have a golden opportunity to lift the Premier League title this season.
But it could have been entirely different for Liverpool had they gone in another direction.
Pep Lijnders sacked in massive win for Liverpool
Back when Jurgen Klopp announced his decision to leave the club one of the favourites for the role to replace him was his assistant Lijnders.
Many saw the Dutchman as the ideal successor to Klopp. Someone who could continue what the German had started at Anfield.
However, Michael Edwards and the rest of the people involved in the managerial recruitment process decided to go in another direction and bring in Arne Slot instead.
It's a decision that has been vindicated by the brilliant performances of Liverpool this season. As well as Lijnders' struggles in his new venture away from the club.
Lijnders was appointed as the manager of Red Bull Salzburg in the summer after he left the club.
Initially, he made a decent start to life in Austria, helping his team qualify for the Champions League.
However, things quickly turned sour after Salzburg were heavily defeated not just in Europe but in the Austrian Bundesliga, losing to their rivals Sturm Graz by 4-0.
Their poor form in the league has led to Salzburg finding themselves in fifth spot ten points away from the league leaders.
Meanwhile, in Europe they are sitting in 32nd spot and qualification to the next round of the tournament look slim.
This has now led to Lijnders being officially dismissed by the club.
It's a decision that will leave Liverpool fans with mixed emotions. On the one hand, the Reds will be delighted to have avoided a potential disaster with the appointment of Lijnders as Klopp's successor.
But on the other hand, it's never nice to see a former Liverpool player or staff struggle. We wish Lijnders the best for the future but we are glad he is not at the helm of Liverpool.
That's a role he is clearly not ready for just yet. But he's a young coach with a bright future ahead of him.
