Revealed: Mo Salah's MEGA Liverpool wage
Mohamed Salah once again showed exactly what he can offer on the pitch in Liverpool’s win over West Ham on Sunday.
The Egyptian King’s new contract was announced two days earlier, and the 32-year-old wasted no time reminding people exactly why the Reds want him for two more years.

It took only 18 minutes for Salah to make his mark on the match, providing an exquisite assist for Luis Diaz, his 18th Premier League assist of the campaign.
Supporters have a lot more to celebrate than just the result that moves Liverpool one step closer to their 20th Premier League title, with one of the best players on the planet set to remain at Anfield for the foreseeable future.
Mo Salah’s monster Liverpool wage
The 32-year-old has been Liverpool’s highest earner for a while, with his previous contract seeing him earn a reported £350,000 a week, and his stellar displays this season have shown he is more than worth the money.
Now, football journalist Ismael Mahmoud has revealed he has heard Salah’s new deal will see him bank a fixed £400,000 per week.
A pay rise for the winger may raise some eyebrows but, based on the season Salah is currently delivering, a slight pay rise on a two-year deal seems like a no-brainer for Richard Hughes.

Although there are of course risks associated with paying a player over the age of 30 such a huge wage, it would have been very difficult to keep the best player in the league around without such an offer.
Salah reportedly turned down much higher offers from other sides in order to remain in Merseyside, so the 15% pay rise seems like a sensible compromise.
Liverpool’s contract situation
Although Salah’s extension is of course a huge positive, Liverpool’s captain and vice-captain are both still set to leave for free in the summer.
A deal for Virgil van Dijk is reportedly close, but hasn’t yet been confirmed, and Trent Alexander-Arnold’s departure to Real Madrid looks inevitable.
Then there is also Ibrahima Konate, Andrew Robertson and Caoimhin Kelleher – whose deals are all set to expire at the end of next season.
Discussions are reportedly underway to extend Konate’s stay in Merseyside, but Kelleher seems unlikely to stay beyond this campaign and Robertson’s future is also uncertain.

If Mohamed Salah can continue to perform as he has done this season, no one will question if he is worth his huge wage, and the Egyptian has shown no signs of slowing down.
