Mo Salah already wants ANOTHER new Liverpool contract
Mo Salah appears to want another new Liverpool contract. The Egyptian has only just signed his current deal.
What a day it was. Liverpool finally announced last week that Mo Salah would be staying at Anfield, having signed a new two-year contract with the Reds.

It was the outcome everyone hoped for. Not only is Salah staying but we won't need to go through all of this again next season.
It's a hell of a deal for Salah, too. He'll be on around £25m per year, says the Telegraph, and remains Liverpool's highest-paid player.
Not that anyone really thought that would change. Salah did reject an enormous amount of money to remain with Liverpool, though - he could have earned 10 times as much in Saudi Arabia.
The story here, then, was that Liverpool were ultimately prepared to back Salah for two more years. That was far from a given, with the Egyptian turning 33 this summer.
A decline is around the corner - there's no question about that - but it's possible Salah doesn't turn that corner for a few more years. Liverpool clearly believe he can put that decline off for longer than that.

Mo Salah wants more
There's a suggestion, however, that Salah wants more. The BBC claims he wishes to remain at the elite level for as long as possible and feels that he has 'at least three more years' there.
Of course, Salah's new Liverpool contract is only for two more years. There's a belief, then, that 2027 won't be the end for the forward as he'll want to continue at the top beyond that.
It was always unlikely that Liverpool would give him that, though, as forwards very, very rarely manage to maintain their standard through to 35. It's already pretty rare to do it at Salah's age, honestly.
The 2026/27 campaign will be an interesting one, then. Liverpool must believe there's a chance that he's still brilliant, while Salah is confident he can still be one of the world's best in the season beyond that.
He'll be hoping for another new Liverpool contract, in other words. And maybe he'll get it - after all, he's managed to convince the club to take a risk once already.
