Here's your latest Liverpool FC news to catch up on.
Mo Salah bids heartbreaking 'captain' farewell
Salah himself is obviously proud of his nationality, taking every opportunity he can to represent his country.
And he has done so off the pitch in his latest Instagram story, paying homage to legendary Egyptian actor Nabil Al Halfawi, who sadly passed away yesterday.
"Immortality belongs to Allah in the death of respected actor Nabil Al Halfawi. We will miss you, captain." reads Salah’s post.
Al Halfawi, known by his nickname ‘The Captain’ because of his role as a sea captain leading an Egyptian military frogman squad in 'Road to Eilat’, a 1994 film set during the 1969 War of Attrition.
Ryan Gravenberch MOVING ON as £3k apartment up for rent
According to Dutch culture site JFK, Gravenberch is now renting out his central Amsterdam apartment - and the price is eye-watering.
“A luxury apartment in Amsterdam in a nice location, you can ask quite a lot of rent for that,” reads the article.
“Ryan Gravenberch knows that too, despite the fact that he lives in Liverpool, which is why he asks more than 3,250 euros per month for this apartment. In addition, the tenant must also pay a one-time deposit of 6,500 euros.”
That’s around £2,700 per month just for the rent which is staggering, even by current market standards.
Liverpool strike MOMENTOUS agreement over legendary manager
Liverpool confirmed on its official website that they have reached an agreement with A24 to depict the club's legendary manager, Bill Shankly's life in a drama series.
The award winning movie studio is renowned across the world for their brilliant productions. Among its latest success stories is Everything Everywhere All at Once which swept away the Oscars winning multiple academy accolades, including the Best Picture award in 2023.
Award-winning playwright and screenwriter Jack Thorne, who has written productions like The Cursed Child, His Dark Materials and Netflix's latest movie Joy, has been tasked with writing the script for the show.
The ambition is not only to convey Liverpool's rise to the top under Shankly but also to depict the cultural happenings around the city during the 1960s and 70s with the show set to be filmed in Liverpool and at Anfield.
Trent Alexander-Arnold's INCREDIBLE top five assists RANKED
Trent Alexander-Arnold has again made more history after his superb cameo against Newcastle United two weeks ago.
The introduction of the 26-year-old sparked life into a very lacklustre Liverpool display with the full-back registering two assists in a thrilling 3-3 draw against the Magpies.
By doing so, Alexander-Arnold has become the first defender in Premier League history to reach the 60 mark, having been tied with his teammate Andy Robertson.
It’s the latest piece of history that portrays the sheer quality and value he holds for Liverpool, on and off of the pitch having signed a mega money deal with Adidas last season after leaving Under Armour, reinforcing just why the Reds cannot afford to let him leave for Real Madrid on a free transfer.
Alexander-Arnold, alongside Virgil van Dijk and Mohamed Salah’s contract sagas have been the dark cloud lingering over a wonderful start to life under Arne Slot.
