Liverpool FC News: Ivan Toney names Reds star with perfect heading ability
Brentford striker Ivan Toney singled out Liverpool's Diogo Jota's heading ability as he built his 'perfect baller'.
Prior to his injury, Jota had been in fine form for Liverpool this season, scoring 14 times and providing three assists in all competitions.
The 27-year-old had been on a particularly impressive run since the festive period, registering ten goal involvements in 11 matches between Boxing Day and the 4-1 win over Brentford in February — the outing in which he suffered a knee injury.
Perhaps Liverpool's best natural finisher, Jota is known for his ability to score goals with both his left foot and right foot, as well as his surprisingly strong heading.
Back in January it was noted by Squawka that Jota is the only Premier League player to score three or more goals with his left, right foot and his head so far in 2023/24.
Standing at just 5ft 10in, Jota's deceptive aerial prowess can go under the radar, but not with Brentford's Toney.
'Very good'
Building his 'perfect baller' for Stadium Astro, the striker choose Liverpool's 'slotter' for heading ability.

“Heading ability, I’d say Jota for Liverpool, yeah, he’s very good at heading,” Toney said.
Across his 56 Premier League goals to date, Jota has nine headers — about a sixth of his overall tally.
Since joining Liverpool, the Portugal international has a grand total of 11 headed goals out of 55 in all competitions — exactly one in five.
Meanwhile, in a move that would surprise far fewer people, Toney also named Liverpool's Virgil van Dijk for the strength category alongside West Ham's Kurt Zouma.
