Liverpool FC News: FSG to spend millions on PERFECT phenom
Liverpool's owners are set to be very busy during the month of January.
Not only are there hopes FSG could help fund moves in the market for the Reds in order to continue Arne Slot's dominant start and give him further ammunition but the American owner's focus is also on Red Sox.

Their baseball franchise has suffered for years and with the failure to land Juan Soto in the free agency market FSG have been dealt another setback.
However, the Liverpool owners continue to explore other options and they could land an exciting Japanese phenom.
FSG could spend $6,261,600 on Roki Sasaki
According to the Bleacher Report the Boston Red Sox are one of the favourites to land Roki Sasaki with the franchise having a bonus pool of $6,261,600.
Because Sasaki is only 23 years old and not yet 25, he qualifies as an amateur free agent in the MLB and can only sign a minor league deal subject to the league's international bonus pool restrictions.
The Red Sox have quite a lot in the bank to spend on Sasaki which makes them a leading candidate in order to land the exciting pitcher who will be hoping to follow in the footsteps of his countryman Shohei Ohtani, who won the World Series with the LA Dodgers this year.
What does this mean for Liverpool?
It means that FSG's policy is consistent. The club's owners have introduced a strategy at the club where Liverpool are constantly looking to sign the best and brightest prospects.
FSG are trying to do the same with the Red Sox and recruiting Sasaki could be a franchise defining move. He is regarded as one of the brightest talents in baseball and plays in a position where the Red Sox could strengthen their options further.
Liverpool fans should cheer for this deal to happen because a strong Red Sox can only benefit the club further. It will only mean more money coming into FSG, ensuring all their franchises are running smoothly and successfully.
