Liverpool handed MASSIVE Carabao Cup final advantage

They won it in fantastic fashion last season, of course. Jurgen Klopp, winning what turned out to be his final trophy, had to try and beat Chelsea with a mix of senior and youth players.
Injuries had left the squad depleted, forcing youngsters into the biggest game of their lives. Virgil van Dijk, one of the few first-team stars able to play, popped up with the only goal in extra-time.
It was a truly legendary moment as 'Klopp's kids' delivered a major trophy. Now Slot will hope to keep the trophy at Anfield - and kick-off his era.
They've made it all the way to the final, beating Tottenham Hotspur over two legs in the semi-final. Next up is Newcastle United in the final.

With that, Gordon gets a three-game ban that will suspend him from the Carabao Cup final.

They'll now be heavily weakened against the Reds and Slot's sides are now overwhelming favourites to lift the trophy. Complacency could now be their biggest threat.
