Arne Slot could finally UNLEASH two Liverpool stars we're all dying to see
Arne Slot could finally let two Liverpool stars off the chains against PSV Eindhoven. We've been dying to see it.
It's not too easy to predict what kind of lineup Arne Slot will name against PSV Eindhoven this week. After all, Liverpool are already through to the last 16 of the UEFA Champions League.
Liverpool FC News Today: Salah RESPONDS as move made for world class star
They could even finish top without winning if Barcelona slip up in their final fixture against Atalanta. There's no massive need to go all-out, then.
But there are financial concerns. Liverpool stand to make an awful lot of money from the Champions League this season and a win against PSV Eindhoven would see them win the maximum possible out of the league phase.
That's around £48m. An incredible amount, honestly, given there's no trophy for doing it.
So there is a strong incentive to win the game in Eindhoven. While we can't see Slot going full-strength, it certainly won't be a case of playing the kids.
This one, then, is a prime opportunity to truly unleash two of Liverpool's most frustrated players this season.

Liverpool stars unleashed
This is the perfect opportunity to truly see what Federico Chiesa can do in a Liverpool shirt. The Italian has been on the sidelines for almost his entire career at Anfield so far, appearing for only 42 minutes across the Premier League and UEFA Champions League.
Zero starts in the big two competitions, then. But that should change this week.
And he's not alone in that. Harvey Elliott hasn't fared much better - 134 minutes in those two competitions. Both have another thing in common in that there have been zero starts in either.
Again, that should change against PSV. Both have looked so exciting in the minutes they've played.
In fact, per FBref, they're the two leaders for Liverpool in the Premier League for Shot-creating actions per 90 minutes. Now, obviously that's in wildly limited minutes - but the point stands that they've brought incredible energy whenever they've been on the pitch.
And so it's time to see what they can bring from the start in a major competition. PSV in the Champions League, top spot on the line - let's unleash the pair and see them wreak havoc.
Liverpool’s final game of the Champions League phase against PSV Eindhoven is an 8pm GMT kick-off and will be broadcasted live on TNT Sports 3.
