Liverpool FC news: Alexis Mac Allister now OUT for weeks
Liverpool's schedule has been jampacked since the season started.
While only at the precipice of the busy festive season, Liverpool have already played 21 matches in this year's campaign.

Under the reigns of Arne Slot, they have won 18 of them, drawing twice and losing once.
It is an unprecedented feat for a new manager and Liverpool have quickly shown that they are a team that will challenge on all fronts this season.
Everton v Liverpool postponed by Storm Darragh
In a week most Liverpool fans were dreading at the start of the season, playing Real Madrid and City in back-to-back clashes at Anfield, before visits to St James' Park and Goodison Park, the team has done remarkably well.
Both the Spanish and English champions were dispatched 2-0 on Merseyside and after a chaotic contest against Newcastle in midweek, the Reds came home with a point from their 3-3 draw.
The team was then faced with the prospect of playing their local rivals in a 12.30pm kick off derby clash away from home, their fourth fixture in 11 days, only for it to be called off a few hours ahead of the game.
Storm Darragh is currently circulating the UK, with 60-90mph winds expected to cause carnage over the next 48 hours - a significant cause for concern by the local authorities, who deemed it unsafe for the game to take place.
Given the weary legs of the players, in addition to the current injuries in the squad, the prospect of playing an Everton side buoyed by a 4-0 win over Wolves in midweek, playing in their last Merseyside Derby at Goodison Park, was not looking hopeful.
As a result, the game being called off can be considered a win for Liverpool, as they will likely be better prepared for the rescheduled clash.
However, if the Premier League fits the match during Liverpool's title run-in in April and May, then the pressure to secure all three points may be ramped up instead.
Regardless, it's out of Liverpool's hands and we're without a game today.
Mac Allister given a significant fitness boost
After receiving a yellow card against Newcastle on Wednesday, Alexis Mac Allister had reached his quota of five yellow cards in the Premier League, meaning he was set to miss the Everton clash through a one-game suspension.
This will now transfer over to the Reds' next domestic game when Fulham travel to Anfield next Saturday.
However, Liverpool also play against Girona in the Champions League this week, and after Mac Allister received a yellow card against Real Madrid two weeks ago and reached his quota of three yellow cards for the competition's group stage, he will also miss this game while serving a one-game suspension.
This means that he will be sidelined for thirteen days between the Newcastle game and the upcoming EFL Cup clash against Southampton on December 18, his next available fixture.
Having been an essential part of the team so far this season, and after facing two spells injured, this break for Mac Allister might just be what the Argentine midfielder needs.
Liverpool were scheduled to play nine matches across December, now eight, and Mac Allister now faces the prospect of playing just five.
This will allow him to spend some quality time at home with his family, while getting himself up to peak fitness at the training ground, before returning to the field with a clean disciplinary record.
I'm sure almost all of the players in Liverpool's squad would be grateful for some time to rest and recover after such a manic few weeks.
