From Grammy winning artist Chappell Roan recently sporting iconic Liverpool kits in her Instagram posts to LeBron James and Lana del Rey as well as Strangers Things star Millie Bobby Brown, all previously talking about their support for the club.

Now it seems like the Reds might be adding a new person of notoriety to their list of supporters with FBI director Kash Patel recently spotted making a fashion statement in the same way as Chappell Roan, involving the Liverpool colours.

Kash Patel spotted sporting Liverpool apparel

Patel is a controversial figure who has just been appointed as the director of the FBI being sworn in on the 25th February after the resignation of Chris Wray, who resigned two days before Donald Trump's inauguration.

In the process, he became the first Indian American to hold the position at the FBI. Patel previously also worked under the Trump administration during the president's last term in the role Chief of Staff to the United States Secretary of Defence.

Patel was nominated for the role by president Trump and he is known for his advocacy of the US president.

Trump might not be the only person Patel supports. The new FBI director was spotted wearing a Liverpool branded tie on social media by Reds fans in a post on X.

Patel has not spoken about his affiliation with Liverpool but it seems like he might have a soft spot for the club otherwise it would be a weird fashion statement to make.

One of the most interesting things about Patel is his ongoing feud with Elon Musk with the 44-year-old having criticised the Tesla CEO in the past.

If he is indeed a Liverpool fan, the new FBI director definitely would not have enjoyed the Musk Liverpool takeover talks that happened last month.
