Jurgen Klopp confirms ANOTHER Liverpool exit in final programme notes

Jurgen Klopp addressed a whole host of Liverpool exits coming after Sunday. The German is far from the only one leaving the club.

Liverpool have released Jurgen Klopp's final programme notes ahead of his last match in charge on Sunday. The Reds will host Wolves on an emotional afternoon as Anfield says goodbye to the German.

Though, he's far from the only one leaving. Almost the entire coaching staff will depart alongside him, with them all heading off in different directions across the world of football.

Klopp paid tribute to them with his programme notes, wishing the group all the best as they embark on their own new chapters.

"This will also be the end of an era for several members of our coaching and backroom staff who will also move on," said Klopp. "To put it simply, I could not have more appreciation for the work that has been done by Pep Lijnders, Peter Krawietz, Vitor Matos, John Achterberg, Jack Robinson, Andreas Kornmayer, Andreas Schlumberger and Ray Haughan.

"Obviously we all wish them well for the future but the good wishes come in the knowledge that they are all brilliant professionals who I have no doubt will succeed whatever they do next."

Klopp confirms another exit

The most notable thing here is that Klopp says Ray Haughan will leave Liverpool. That's not one we've seen confirmed anywhere but it appears he'll be another departing.

Haughan is the general manager of first-team operations and has been with Liverpool since 2008. Essentially, he makes sure the first-team runs smoothly - scheduling, travel etc.

It's another significant change for the club. While Haughan has only been in this specific role since 2019, he's held a similar one for over 15 years.

Now, all of a sudden, he won't be handling that side of things for Liverpool. Yet one more way that they'll need to transition into another era.
