Things should have been a lot easier for the Reds on Wednesday night. This was an opportunity for Arne Slot's side to further maintain their gap at the top of the Premier League table.

But instead, the Reds stumbled, and have now put a lot of pressure on themselves as they face Manchester City at the weekend.
The worse thing about the whole thing is that they only have themselves to blame.
This is a game Liverpool should have won and easily could have won if it wasn't for their own errors.
And after tonight's performance, there are two Liverpool stars who will have sealed their fate with their actions on the pitch.
Why Diogo Jota and Darwin Nune have both sealed their Liverpool fates
Liverpool's 2-2 draw could have been an easy 4-2 win and sparked huge celebrations at Villa Park from the travelling supporters.
All it would have taken is for both Diogo Jota and Darwin Nunez to keep their composure.
For the former it was an opportunity in the first half. Clean through on goal, Jota only had to curve the ball into the back of the net. A typical, standard striker's finish but instead he skied the ball high and up into the stands, miles away from the goal.
It was a pathetic attempt at trying to score and it was only made worse by Nunez repeating the feat and outdoing Jota's miss himself with an equally terrible finish of his own.
When Conor Bradley sent Dominik Szoboszlai through on goal, the Hungarian, who should have shot, decided to square the ball across to Nunez with the Aston Villa goalkeeper closing him down.
Inside the box, Nunez only had to tap the ball into the back of the net but instead he sent it travelling over the bar and into the stands.
This was a simple finish. A finish you expected a striker you almost broke your transfer record for to make.
And it should settle his fate in a Liverpool shirt.
Anfield Watch revealed exclusively that the Reds want to sell both Jota and Nunez this summer. This game only made it clearer as to why.
If Slot's side are going to consistently compete for titles, they need clinical finishers. Jota and Nunez have both shown they aren't reliable.
