The Liverpool midfielder debuted a brand new look in Hungary's draw with Bosnia in the Nations League.

It was another frustrating game in international colours for Dominik Szoboszlai. Having been drubbed 5-0 by Germany in his previous outing, Szoboszlai was looking to bounce back from that disappointment.

A game on home soil in the Puskas Arena, where Hungary have not lost a game in two years seemed like the perfect opportunity.

However, Szoboszlai was left frustrated by his teammates. Despite creating a whopping eight chances in the game as per FotMob, Hungary could not find the back of the net.

Which means the biggest talking points from the game will have been the Liverpool midfielder debuting a brand new look.

At Liverpool, Szoboszlai has been playing with his hair flipped forward to the front. However, in the game against Bosnia, the Hungary captain opted for a more slick-back look.

With visibly more gel in his hair, Szoboszlai looked old-school and resembled Ferenc Puskas' signature look back from Hungary's golden years during the Mighty Magyar era.

M4 Sport in Hungary spotted Szoboszlai's look and shared it on Instagram.

The post garnered plenty of attention with over 17k likes and 150 comments. Although we have to admit we do not spot a huge difference in Szoboszlai's 'new look.'

He has sported similar haircuts before. Perhaps not quite as slicked back as this one.

Nonetheless, the Hungarian will not be too concerned about comments on his appearance.

He will now be focused on returning to Liverpool and carrying where he left off, having started the campaign superbly under Arne Slot while playing in a new role.

Szoboszlai has already registered two assists in three matches in the Premier League, matching his total tally from last season. And he will be hoping to add more to it against Nottingham Forest on Saturday.
