The Italian transfer expert boasts 22 million followers on Facebook and recently on the platform he referred to Dominik Szoboszlai as a midfield “demon”.

It followed a superstar showing on the part of the 24-year-old against Tottenham in the Carabao Cup semi-final second leg at Anfield.
The Reds successfully overturned a first-leg deficit to inflict a 4-0 defeat on Spurs, setting up a Wembley showdown with Newcastle next month.
Szoboszlai was at the heart of the action that night, scoring once and making two big chances for his teammates. He also won seven duels and made three tackles to crown a dominant midfield display.
Romano praised the Hungary captain on his socials after the game, leading to plenty of intrigue around his new “demon” nickname.

Szoboszlai recently conducted an interview with Spiller TV in his homeland where the subject of Romano’s praise came up. Host Adam Markus drew attention to the “demon” moniker, asking Szoboszlai what he thought about it.
Szoboszlai vows to contact Romano
The former RB Leipzig playmaker claimed that he would reach out to Romano about it, admitting that he still can’t work out why he is calling him that.
"I've read some articles about him calling me that,” he said. “Honestly, I'll ask him why he thought of that name, maybe then I can figure it out.”
The description is quite apt as the hard-working midfielder is putting in good numbers both offensively and defensively for Arne Slot this season. He’s got five goals and five assists in all competitions this term, but that only tells half the story.
Szoboszlai has a difficult role in the centre of Slot’s team, being asked to track opposition runners and win the ball back. He is averaging four ball recoveries per game, according to Sofascore, as well as 2.9 duels won.

Szobszlai is one of the most expensive players in Liverpool’s history, joining the club in 2023 from Leipzig for around £60 million. He is contracted to the Reds until 2028.
