If you happen to find yourself in Hungary during Euro 2024 and you’re… hungry, then Dominik Szoboszlai might have the solution for you.

The Liverpool midfielder has just been revealed as the new face of McDonald’s in his home country ahead of the launch of the “Domi Meal” on June 4.

While it’s not yet known what’s contained in the meal, it’s known that the offer will run for a limited amount of time and only in Hungary.

McDonald’s Hungary teased the Szoboszlai partnership a couple of weeks ago, posting a silhouette of a footballer on their famous brown bag, with a caption inviting followers to guess who it might be.

“Soon everything will be about football here too,” the message read. “After all, we have signed a true Hungarian world star into the Meki team. Who do you think it could be?”

Lo and behold, it’s the 23-year-old national team captain, whose endorsement portfolio is growing ever larger.

Already signed to Magyar Telekom, this represents the Reds’ playmaker’s latest foray into corporate partnerships.

“Domi meal, dropping on 04.06.24. Available only in Hungary,” the latest announcement reads.

uro 2024 promises to be an exciting time for Hungarian football and McDonald’s is getting into the festive spirit.

The Magyars secured qualification to the showpiece event by qualifying top of Group G ahead of Serbia, with Szoboszlai leading by example and scoring four goals.

Marco Rossi’s side now face hosts Germany as well as Switzerland and Scotland in Group A of the European Championship.

Szoboszlai made a storming start to life at Liverpool following his £60 million transfer from RB Leipzig last summer.

However, like some of his teammates, he’s not been at his best through the second half of the season and has been suffering the lingering effects of injury.

He’s scored seven times in 43 games for Jurgen Klopp’s side in total.
