Liverpool receive HUGE win as PGMOL issue LATEST David Coote statement
Premier League official David Coote has had his employment TERMINATED with immediate effect after a video showed him insulting Liverpool and Jurgen Klopp.
After he became the laughingstock of social media for his comments about the club, the PGMOL opened an investigation into the video, and he was suspended during the international break.

The FA subsequently also investigated Coote's comments for potentially using xenophobic language about Klopp, using his nationality in his disapproval of the former manager.
Other subsequent leaks came about about the referee, but none were taken quite as seriously as the original video.
PGMOL makes David Coote decision
Now, almost four weeks after the video was published, the PGMOL has laid out its stance in full, deciding it had no choice but to terminate his contract.
Released just minutes ago, a statement from PGMOL reads:
"Following the conclusion of a thorough investigation into David Coote’s conduct, his employment with PGMOL has been terminated today with immediate effect.
"David Coote’s actions were found to be in serious breach of the provisions of his employment contract, with his position deemed untenable.
"Supporting David Coote continues to be important to us and we remain committed to his welfare. David Coote has a right to appeal the decision to terminate his employment."
The BBC is reporting currently that further investigations are said to still be taking place, about further videos of Coote's wrongdoing, including one which involved him allegedly sniffing a white substance using a rolled-up bank note.
This video reportedly took place during the European Championship, while Coote was working for UEFA, and as such the European football body has launched an investigation into those events.
The result of any such remaining investigations is yet to be determined, but it seems as though the damage has already been done to the referee's career, and it is unlikely that he will officiate in football again.
Concerns were raised surrounding the impartiality of officials, and that is a debate that will linger on into the future, but for now, Coote's sacking serves as a deeply damaging day for the PGMOL and footballing integrity, and Liverpool will feel that justice has been served.
