Liverpool could make a move for Barcelona winger Ousmane Dembele, according to Spanish outlet El Nacional, as cited by Liverpool FC News on Twitter.

The 24-year-old is out of contract at the conclusion of the current season. El Nacional has reported that Dembele does not plan on extending his deal at the Nou Camp.

With that being the case, the Frenchman will be available on a free transfer come the summer.

However, El Nacional has further claimed that Liverpool could attempt to sign Dembele for a reduced fee this month.

Anfield Watch Verdict

Dembele is a fine young player. There is a reason why Barcelona signed the winger from Borussia Dortmund for a transfer fee of €140 million back in the summer of 2017.

Dembele is only 24 years of age, so it would be fair to assume that his best years are ahead of him.

With that being the case, we would love to see Liverpool make a move for the Frenchman in the near future.
