There's still a long way to go until the end of the season with Arsenal having played a game less than Liverpool, there is a chance the Gunners could claw the deficit back in the 11 games remaining.

But it's a healthy advantage to have, and it's one where Liverpool will know only a major slip up would prevent them from not having their hands on the title.

Liverpool can afford to drop as much as seven points from a possible 33 and need just eight wins and two draws in order to guarantee themselves the trophy.

Having lost just once all season, Liverpool would now need to face two defeats from their last 11 matches. Slot will have the confidence in his team to get the job done.

However, it's not going to be an easy task. Liverpool will know there will be challenges up ahead and the Reds will take things game by game.

In the end, though, lifting a 20th Premier League title would be an absolute dream. Liverpool had once been knocked off their perch by Manchester United, but with another league title this season, the Reds will have restored parity with their rivals.

Not only that, Liverpool will become by far the most successful club in the country, having also won the Champions League six times among other major accolades.

There will be more joy to be had, too. If Liverpool win the league the Reds will also get a nice little cash bonus. According to The Athletic, Nike will pay out a £2m bonus to Liverpool in the event the club is crowned Premier League champions.

It's not a huge amount. But it's a healthy little boost to give Liverpool a little bit more room in their kitty ahead of what's expected to be a huge summer of movement for the Reds.

Anfield Watch revealed exclusively the host of departures that could happen in the summer and there will be plenty of arrivals coming in as a result too.

More money coming into Liverpool will always be a nice boost and it's a decent little parting gift from Nike with the Reds set to switch to Adidas next season.
