Ben Doak: Liverpool wonderkid delivers another sensational Scotland moment
Ben Doak has sizzled again for Scotland, grabbing an assist just two minutes in against Poland.
The Liverpool wonderkid made a major impact against Croatia, including an audacious nutmeg through the legs of Manchester City’s Josko Gvardiol.
He kept his place for Steve Clarke’s side as they look to avoid relegation in UEFA Nations League Group A1 and provided the opener for Aston Villa’s John McGinn.
Doak almost had another assist with an incisive pass midway through the half before Lyndon Dykes lashed a shot wide.

The youngster was a constant outlet throughout the first half for Scotland, and looked confident producing stepovers to deceive the Polish defenders.
As well as Doak dazzling on the right hand side, Scotland skipper Andy Robertson made a nuisance of himself on the left and came close to adding a second goal for the visitors close to the break.
He continued to be a threat for Scotland in the second half and created the most chances (five) while he was on the pitch ultimately being substituted by Steve Clark just after the hour mark at 66 minutes into the game.
