Liverpool FC loan deals round-up

Now the summer transfer window has ended, here is a round-up of all the loan deals completed involving Liverpool players.

It was a summer of complete inaction on the incomings front for Liverpool until the final week of the window, where The Reds confirmed the signing of Italian winger Federico Chiesa and announced an agreement for talented Georgian goalkeeper Giorgi Mamardashvilli to join in 2025.

Liverpool also bidded fairwell to multiple departures this summer including Joel Matip, Adrian, Thiago Alcantara, Bobby Clark, Fabio Carvalho and Sepp van den Berg.

The biggest goodbye went to the legendary Jurgen Klopp though, with Arne Slot becoming the German's successor.

The Dutchman's first summer at the helm has seen him allow many Liverpool's youngsters leave on loan to get regular first-team experience.

LOAN DEALS ROUND-UP

Stefan Bajcetic to RB Salzburg - After an injury stricken last year at Anfield, Spanish midfielder Stefan Bajcetic has completed a move to Austrian side Red Bull Salzburg where he will reunite with Pep Ljinders and other members of Klopp's Liverpool backroom staff.

Bajcetic will strike a midfield partnership with Bobby Clark who left Liverpool on a permanent deal this summer. The aim is for Bajcetic to play a full season before returning to Merseyside to compete for a starting place in Slot's side.

Ben Doak to Middlesbrough - The talented Scotsman was one of several deadline day outgoings and following the transfer of Chiesa, a move away for the highly-rated youngster was seemingly the right call.

Doak has impressed everytime he has played for Liverpool's first-team so if he plays to the level he can, it may present The Reds with a cash-in opportunity or a player who will prove to be a very useful asset.

Kaide Gordon to Norwich City - Kaide Gordon, Liverpool's youngster-ever FA Cup goalscorer was another deadline day sanction as the winger looks to put his injuries behind him and impress at Carrow Road.

Calum Scanlon to Millwall - Calum Scanlon was one of several youngsters to be handed their senior debut last season as he featured twice in Liverpool's Europa League campaign. A succesful loan at Millwall may see him feature more at left-back in years to come.

Lewis Koumas to Stoke City - After netting his first senior goal against Southampton for Liverpool last season, Lewis Koumas aims to impress in the Championships to push for a regular spot in Arne Slot's plans.

The Welshman is already loved by the Potters faithful having scored twice and registered one assist in his first four outings.

Luca Stephenson to Dundee United - Luca Stephenson got his first taste of playing in Liverpool's first-team this summer following an impressive loan at Barrow last year. The midfielder will be hoping another strong season away from Anfield will provide more opportunities in seasons to come.

Rhys Williams to Morcambe - One of Liverpool's heroes in the 2020/21 season, Rhys Williams has struggled to force his way into the senior side since with numerous loan spells in recent years. Another impressive loan could see a cash-in opportunity land in front of Liverpool.

Calvin Ramsay to Wigan Athletic - After joining from Aberdeen two years ago, Calvin Ramsay has struggled with injury but will be hoping to put that behind him and that a strong season at Wigan could lead him in good stead to compete for a place with Trent Alexander-Arnold and Conor Bradley.

Nat Philips to Derby - Another one of Liverpool's 2020/21 heroes who is adored by the Liverpool fans. Nat Philips has agreed to go to Derby County on loan after the Reds couldn't find a sale for him.

Luke Chambers to Wigan Athletic - Luke Chambers has been one of many young left backs who have earnt their chance to play for the first-team and will be looking to follow up an impressive loan at Kilmarnock with another at Wigan.

Marcelo Pitaluga to Livingston - The talented Brazilian goalkeeper hasn't really had a look-in at Liverpool since his arrival and has moved to Scotland to get some very valuable first-team minutes.

Owen Beck to Blackburn Rovers - Similar to Luke Chambers and Calum Scanlon, Owen Beck is another impressive left-back who will be looking to gain the edge on his fellow full-backs to earn a spot in Arne Slot's plans.
