Liverpool are reportedly monitoring Wolves full-back valued at €18 million
Liverpool could make a move for Wolverhampton Wanderers left-back Rayan Ait-Nouri, according to The Mail, as cited by Anfield Edition's Twitter account.
The report states that the Reds are monitoring the 20-year-old. Ait-Nouri's contract does not expire until the summer of 2026.
Therefore, Liverpool will have to pay a transfer fee if they want to sign the Frenchman. Ait-Nouri possesses a current market value of €18 million.
ANFIELD WATCH VERDICT
Ait-Nouri is a solid player. The left-back has been averaging a WhoScored player rating of 7.12 in the early stages of the 2021-22 Premier League campaign.
The aforementioned figure highlights that Ait-Nouri is capable of playing at the highest level.
However, Liverpool already possess two left-backs (Andy Robertson and Kostas Tsimikas). Therefore, we would be surprised if the Reds were to make a move for Ait-Nouri in the near future.
Only time will tell if Liverpool are genuinely interested in the full-back. On another note, the January transfer window opens in less than three weeks.
