Liverpool could make a move for Real Madrid forward Luka Jovic in the near future, according to Fichajes, as cited by Anfield Edition's Twitter account.

The report states that the Reds are interested in signing the 23-year-old. Jovic's deal expires in June 2025.

Transfrmarkt value the Serbia international at €20 million.

ANFIELD WATCH VERDICT

Jovic has only scored two goals and registered three assists in 38 appearances for Real Madrid.

However, the aforementioned figures are not a true reflection of the forward's ability.

Footage of Jovic highlights that he can consistently score, create, and beat a man. Going by the Serbia international's current transfer market value, he would not cost the club too much money.

As we have pointed out, Jovic is only 23 years of age. Liverpool do have an ageing forward line.

The likes of Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino are all aged between 28-30. Therefore, the club should have an eye to the future.

It would not hurt to sign a player of Jovic's profile.
