Liverpool are reportedly interested in Barcelona midfielder valued at €90 million

Liverpool are keeping an eye on Barcelona midfielder Frenkie de Jong, according to SPORT, as cited by Sport Witness.

The report states that the Reds are 'crazy' to sign the 24-year-old. However, the story further adds that Bayern Munich are also desperate to secure De Jong's services.

Reports in Spain have claimed that the Netherland's international has been put on a transfer list by Barcelona.

De Jong's contract does not expire until the summer of 2026. The midfielder possesses a current market value of €90 million.

We would not be against Liverpool making a move for De Jong.

The midfielder is a very good player. There is a reason why De Jong possesses such a hefty current market value.

Also, the Netherlands international's career is far from over. De Jong is only 24 years of age after all.
