Liverpool are reportedly in the "front row" to sign a 21-goal forward
Liverpool could sign Club Brugge winger Noa Lang, according to Calciomercato.
The report states that Liverpool and Arsenal are in the "front row" to sign the 22-year-old.
Lang's current contract expires in the summer of 2025. Club Brugge reportedly value the forward at €25 million.
ANFIELD WATCH VERDICT
Lang is a solid footballer. The winger has scored 21 goals and registered 16 assists in 51 appearances for Club Brugge.
Lang is also averaging a WhoScored player rating of 7.40 in the early stages of the 2021-22 Jupiler Pro League campaign.
The aforementioned figures highlight that Lang is a talented player. We would love to see Liverpool make a move for the Netherlands international.
Lang would add depth and quality to the club's forward line. Also, the Reds do possess an ageing forward line.
The likes of Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino are all aged between 28-30. The aforementioned players can't represent the club forever.
With that being the case, signing a young and promising forward, such as Lang, would be a good move by the club.
