Liverpool reportedly have a chance of signing Monaco midfielder valued at €35 million

Liverpool are among the leading contenders to sign Monaco midfielder Aurelien Tchouameni, according to Tuttosport, as cited by Twitter account RumorsTransfers24/7.

However, apparently the Reds are not the only club interested in the 21-year-old.

The report states that Chelsea, Real Madrid and Juventus are all in contention to sign Tchouameni.

The Frenchman is out of contract at the conclusion of the 2023-24 campaign. Transfermarkt value Tchouameni at €35 million.

Tchouameni is a player that we do like the look of. The midfielder has scored five goals and registered four assists in 62 appearances for Monaco's first-team.

Tchouameni is also averaging a WhoScored player rating of 7.14 in the early stages of the 2021-22 Ligue 1 campaign.

The aforementioned figures highlight that the Frenchman is a capable senior footballer.

As we have pointed out, Tchouameni is only 21 years of age. Therefore, it would be fair to assume that the youngster is far from the finished article.
