Liverpool are 'aware' of when Mohamed Salah is likely to leave Liverpool
Liverpool 'are aware' of the likelihood that Mohamed Salah will leave the club next year, according to one journalist.
The Reds number 11 was the subject of serious interest from the Saudi Pro League this summer, culminating in a bid of up to £150m.
While that offer was ultimately rejected and the Saudis did not return with an increased proposal before the 7 September transfer deadline, it is widely expected that the Salah saga will continue into future windows, when a move may ultimately suit all parties.
With the player's contract due to expire in 2025, next summer may represent the final opportunity for Liverpool to sell Salah for a transfer fee rather than see him leave for nothing at the end of his current deal.
Salah has long been identified as a top target for the government-backed Saudi Pro League and courtship of the Egyptian is likely to continue next year.

Addressing this point, journalist Ben Jacobs claims that Liverpool are 'aware' of the probability of Salah's upcoming departure, with a big-money deal much harder to turn down next summer.
Jacobs told GIVEMESPORT: "Liverpool are aware that Salah is likely to leave in 2024, even though his contract expires in 2025.
"And whereas they were able to bat off a £150m package from Al-Ittihad this summer, it's going to be a lot harder to turn down good money if Salah wants the move in a year's time, because they'll only be a year left on the contract. If Salah commits to Liverpool for this year and then says he wants to go then Liverpool may have to start planning for life without Salah.
"That kind of money could be very important to Liverpool over a number of windows as well. And there's absolutely no doubt that the Saudi side is going to return for Salah."
While it was Al Ittihad who made the bid for Salah this summer, it has been suggested that there will be other possible suitors for Salah in Saudi Arabia next time around.

Meanwhile, Liverpool's preparations for a life beyond their record Premier League goalscorer may already be starting, with reports that the club are keeping an eye on Athletic Club star Nico Williams, whose contract is due to expire next summer.
17-year-old sensation Ben Doak – earmarked as a potential successor to the Egyptian – has also signed a new long-term contract at Anfield.
