Liverpool given ALL CLEAR to sign £75m star
Liverpool have the world at their feet this summer, as they attempt to replace half of the starting XI.
A starting left-back will be brought in, a centre-back is required, Trent Alexander-Arnold has one foot in Real Madrid already, a striker is necessary for the next campaign and a full-time defensive midfielder is yet to be signed after four years of searching for one.

The mission ahead of the LFC recruitment department is a monumental one, potentially the club's biggest transfer window of all time, but a significant budget is set to be green-lit for the project.

Liverpool have been largely absent over the last three transfer windows and the last major influx of players involved four midfielders, with the rest of the squad being deemed up to standard.
However, the team now has a lot of positions in need of TLC and the club are looking at the world's best to freshen up the squad.
In the case of Castello Lukeba, an opportunity might be available for the Reds to exploit.
Hughes to organise a back door exit for Lukeba
The 22-year-old Frenchman is world-renowned for his expertise as a centre-back for RB Leipzig and there will be countless football clubs who will have their eyes on him.
His calmness on the ball is an ability that very few young players have and his ability to intercept the ball is incredibly impressive.
Prior to moving to Germany, he started life at Lyon and now that he has been given a taste of what playing in the Champions League is like at Leipzig, a move to six-time European winners Liverpool might be exactly what he needs to take his career to the next level.
The Reds are in need of a left-side centre-back who can cover Virgil van Dijk and the Dutchman might need replacing if Liverpool fail to tie him down to a contract extension.
You might expect an approach for Lukeba from Liverpool would ordinarily get dismissed straight away, because the Frenchman is a key asset to the German side.
However, the latest report from The Mirror claims that RB Leipzig are actively looking at signing a new centre-back.
The article quotes information from the Turkish outlet Fanatik, which claims that Tottenham, Manchester United, Bayern Munich, Napoli, Atletico Madrid and RB Leipzig are all interested in signing Fenerbahce's Yusuf Akcicek, a 19-year-old prodigy centre-half.
Now, on the face of it, this might make plenty of sense, given that Die Roten Bullen play with a back-three system, so having exhaustive stocks of defenders is essential to the way they play.
But Lukeba has only appeared off the bench in each of his last four appearances for the club, despite having a successful run of games in February, where Leipzig conceded just twice in four matches, so tensions might be rising.
Of course, the fee that Liverpool would have to pay to secure the youngster's services is likely to be high, with a reported release clause of €90 million (£75m)and no formal links have been made between the player and the club.

Nonetheless, Liverpool could do a lot worse than the up-and-coming defender and the Reds might inadvertently have the French national team's future centre-back partnership if a move were to be sanctioned.
