Alexis Mac Allister's mother VOWS 'truth and justice' in legal fight against influencer ex
The mother of Liverpool’s World Cup-winning midfielder Alexis Mac Allister has vowed that truth and justice will prevail in a legal battle involving her son and his ex-girlfriend.
It’s been almost two years since Alexis broke up with old flame Cami Mayan. The playmaker moved on, now dating Ailén Cova.
Mayan, for her part, has since returned to Argentina from the pair’s shared home in Brighton, where Alexis was a player before his £35 million move to Liverpool in summer 2023.
She has built a career as an influencer in the Latin American country, also joining the crew of a show called Patria y Familia.
However, a legal controversy has emerged over the past few months with Mayan seeking compensation for the years lived together with Mac Allister following their split.

Alexis' mum speaks out
"It was done for a reason, because it's appropriate and that's why justice has to take care of it,” she has previously said.
“There's nothing I can clarify and that's why I haven't said anything during this time. It's not something from now, it's been there for a long time.
“Whatever I say, they'll have an opinion anyway. I realised there's nothing I can clarify. Everyone already knows where I was and what I did."
And now the player’s mother, Silvia Riela, has weighed in, telling Argentine media that ‘everything is on track’ and that the Mac Allister family have now responded to the lawsuit.

"We are handling it in the best way with truth and justice,” she told a reporter from Flor de la V’s show. “Together we have now responded to the lawsuit and everything is on track."
She added: "We are calm because we always handle ourselves with the truth and we believe in justice. We also know that the laws are designed for this to progress in a good way."

Alexis overruled club
Silvia spoke out last week regarding Alexis’ recent call-up to the Argentina team for their World Cup qualifiers against Venezuela and Bolivia despite injury.
She admitted Alexis insisted on going away with the national team despite experiencing a knock during Liverpool’s Premier League game at Crystal Palace.
For her part, Mayan has also stated that ‘sharing a boyfriend’ was discussed with Ailén Cova before she split up with Alexis.
