Liverpool 2023/24 third kit: release date, colour, leaked images
Liverpool's third kit for the 2023/24 season is yet to be released officially, but leaked images have intrigued social media in recent weeks.
While the home and away kits for the new campaign are already available, it's just the lesser-seen third strip that is left to be unveiled. Here's what we know about it so far.
Design and colour
According to reliable leakers of new kit information footyheadlines.com, the colour of Liverpool's 2023/24 third kit is 'space purple', with the design set to follow the template used by Nike for the 2023 Women's FIFA World Cup shirts.
The kit is set to have distorted purple stripes throughout the body, while parts of the collar, sleeves and edges are in a darker shade of purple, giving it a rather unique (some might say bizarre) look.
The Reds have previously worn purple back in 2013/14 as well as 2018/19.
The logos, which are to be made from recycled materials, will be in white, while leaked images have seemingly confirmed v-panels on the collar area.
In terms of colour, comparisons have also been drawn with Argentina's 2022 FIFA World Cup away kit. However, the Reds' kit is believed to have a darker shade of purple, while the stripes on La Albiceleste's shirt are of a different design.

Release date?
No date has been set for the official launch of the third kit, but it has been widely reported that it will be made available at some point after the start of the new Premier League season, with some speculation that it will drop in September.
Liverpool debuted their traditional red home kit for the 2023/24 campaign at the back end of last season in the Premier League clash against Aston Villa, while the away kit, which is a modern take on the popular 1995/96 away shirt, was officially launched earlier this summer.
