Jurgen Klopp has revealed that all three of Trent Alexander-Arnold, Andy Robertson and Dominik Szoboszlai 'have a chance' of being involved in Liverpool's game against Norwich this weekend.

The Reds take on their Championship opponents in the FA Cup fourth round at Anfield this Sunday.

The match comes just three days before the Premier League clash with Chelsea (Wednesday, 31 January), while Liverpool travel to Arsenal the weekend after.

Prior to the Carabao Cup semi-final win over Fulham, Klopp's number two Pep Lijnders revealed how close Liverpool's injured trio were to making comebacks at a crucial juncture in the season.

Speaking in his pre-match press conference ahead of Sunday's cup tie, Klopp stopped short of confirming who would be involved on Sunday, as he gave injury progress updates.

"There's a chance for all of them [Alexander-Arnold, Robertson and Szoboszlai]. We will see. It's touch and go," the manager told reporters.

"Robbo is physically ready and it was good to have him in a matchday squad [vs Fulham] and he's on a completely normal team training schedule.

"Like Dom from tomorrow on, he's on a completely normal schedule that means he's ready for minutes.

"With Trent, is it Norwich or the game after? We have to see.

"He was not even part of team training yet, so tomorrow I have to make a decision there.

"It would be very helpful if they could all be involved, but we have to see."

The news of Liverpool's key trio being so close to comebacks will be music to fans' ears, with availability issues mounting this month.

In addition to the aforementioned players, Klopp is currently without Wataru Endo and Mohamed Salah, who have been on international duty this month, with things further complicated by the latter picking up a hamstring injury at the Africa Cup of Nations.

Joel Matip, Stefan Bajcetic and Thiago remain long-term absentees, while youngster Ben Doak suffered a knee injury last month.
