Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp did not give too much away regarding the futures of Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane during his recent press conference.

Both forwards are out of contract at the conclusion of next season. With that being the case, a journalist asked Klopp a question about the futures of Salah and Mane.

The German said that he can't speak on behalf of both players.

"That's more of a question for the boys, to be honest," Klopp said, as quoted by Anfield Watch on Twitter.

"But it's all fine, I really think they are both great. They have more things to think about than the management, but it's an important thing.

"I have a great relationship with both boys."

Anfield Watch Verdict

We really do hope that the club can come to an agreement with Salah and Mane. Both players have been superb for Liverpool.

Salah has scored 155 goals and registered 61 assists in 247 appearances for the Reds. Mane on the other hand has found the back of the net 117 times and secured 46 assists in 262 appearances for Liverpool.

Going by comments Klopp made back in February, he does not want to see Salah and Mane depart the club either.

“These two boys are real warriors," he said, as quoted by Sportskeeda.

"They are constantly ready. They are both not worried about holiday, about days off and stuff like this. I never heard them ask anything about having time off. I never did. Especially with these two boys it is really pretty simple."

Salah and Mane have no real reason to leave Merseyside. Liverpool are challenging for every major honour in the game at the moment.

Also, both players are loved by the Anfield faithful. We really do believe that Salah (29) and Mane (30) have plenty more to give.
