Jurgen Klopp could STILL be about to make millions for Liverpool this summer

Jurgen Klopp may have left Liverpool this summer, but the German's influence means the Reds will make millions thanks to him even after his departure.

Liverpool have to move on. The Klopp era at Anfield is over. It's important to focus on the future ahead with Arne Slot. However, it's impossible to deny that Klopp's legacy still lingers around the club.

Klopp has handed Slot and the Liverpool boardroom a very healthy squad full of potential, not just on the pitch but in the transfer market as well.

Most notably, Klopp's influence is being felt this summer in the amount of interest registered for some of the club's young academy players - all of whom were given their lucky break under the former Liverpool boss.

How Jurgen Klopp is helping Liverpool make millions

So far Liverpool have been quiet on the transfer front this summer. However, things are about to accelerate quickly in the transfer market and there will be plenty of deals being done at Anfield.

That includes departures as well, with Liverpool currently in negotiations to sell Bobby Clark to Red Bull Salzburg.

Clark is a perfect example of Klopp's influence still being felt at the club. It was under Klopp that Clark made his debut for Liverpool. It was also under the German that he established himself as a squad player last season and increased his value tenfold.

Liverpool now hope to make as much £12m for his services, which would never have been possible if he didn't have a manager so willing to give him chances.

This doesn't just apply to Clark either. The same can be said about Ben Doak, Tyler Morton, Kaide Gordon or Stefan Bajcetic - who are currently all on the market for either permanent or loan deals.

It's not guaranteed all of them will make it at Liverpool, but it's guaranteed that they will make the club a fortune if they are sold.

All of them therefore owe a huge debt of gratitude to Klopp, but so does Michael Edwards and Richard Hughes. Without Klopp giving these young players opportunities on the pitch, Hughes and Edwards would have a much harder time trying to sell them for millions or find the right loan solutions for them right now.
