Jurgen Klopp is reportedly the only manager that could convince Real Madrid star to leave
Real Madrid midfielder Toni Kroos would be open to the idea of working under Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp, according to El Nacional, as cited by Anfield Edition's Twitter account.
There is a bit of talk regarding the 32-year-old's future at the moment. Kroos' contract expires in the summer of 2023.
However, the ex-German international would reportedly only leave Real Madrid to work under Klopp.
It is important to note that Liverpool have not genuinely been linked with a move for the midfielder.
Anfield Watch Verdict
Kroos has been a top player for a number of years. The midfielder has scored 25 goals and registered 83 assists in 340 appearances for Real Madrid's first-team.
Kroos has also won a number of trophies. There is no denying that the 32-year-old would add quality and experience to the Reds' midfield.
But, despite the fact that Kroos reportedly likes Klopp, we would be surprised if Liverpool were to ever make a move for him.
The reality is, the former German international is at the backend of his career. Liverpool would only get a couple of seasons out of him.
