Jurgen Klopp is reportedly an admirer of a winger valued at €25 million
Liverpool could potentially make a move for Villarreal winger Arnaut Danjuma in the future, according to the Here We Go podcast, as cited by The Anfield Buzz's Twitter account.
The report states that Reds boss Jurgen Klopp is an admirer of the 24-year-old. The report further adds that Danjuma has been seen as an option to provide competition to Mohamed Salah, Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane.
The Netherlands international's contract expires in the summer of 2026. Transfermarkt value the forward at €25 million.
ANFIELD WATCH VERDICT
We would not be against Liverpool making a move for Danjuma. The winger has scored seven goals and registered two assists in 16 appearances for Villarreal.
Danjuma is also averaging a WhoScored player rating of 7.07 in the early stages of the 2021-22 Champions League campaign.
The aforementioned figures highlight that the 24-year-old is a promising player. Due to Danjuma's age, it would be fair to assume that he still has plenty of room left for improvement.
