Jurgen Klopp has confirmed that Thiago Alcantara, Joel Matip and Roberto Firmino have all trained ahead of Tuesday's game against Inter Milan.

In his pre-Inter Milan press conference, as cited by Anfield Watch, Klopp has given us an update on the three players who missed Saturday's West Ham fixture.

Thiago missed the game against the Hammers due to the injury he picked up in the League Cup final, Matip was out due to an illness and Firmino had been absent since the previous Champions League clash against Milan.

Ahead of the Inter Milan game, the Liverpool manager has confirmed that the trio have all returned to training.

"Thiago, Bobby and Joel all trained yesterday, in full. We will have to see how they react," said Klopp.

"Thiago was only out for a week. Joel was 3-4 days so he will be fine. Bobby - yesterday was his first session, it might make sense to give him a few more days. But they are all in training."

Anfield Watch Verdict

This is great news for Liverpool. The Reds now have a full squad again, something which will be very important heading into the final stage of the season.

Thiago had been a massive miss in midfield against Chelsea and West Ham but luckily, we got through those games unscathed.

Thankfully Ibrahima Konate's admission into the squad did not mean that Matip was massively missed but it will be good to have the Cameroonian and Virgil van Dijk at the back once again.

Finally, with Bobby returning to the squad, it means that Klopp can call on something different from the bench. The Brazilian has a set of skills that no other Liverpool player has and it will be vital that he stays fit for the remainder of the season.
