With both Fabinho and Alisson Becker unable to play against Watford after travelling with Brazil for international duty, Jurgen Klopp has had his say on the situation in his pre-match press conference.

The Liverpool boss explained when we can expect to see both Fabinho and Alisson back, revealing that the duo are likely to return against Atletico Madrid in the Champions League this coming Tuesday. Both players will fly directly to Madrid before playing the game, and travelling back later than the rest of the squad, once it has reached the 10 day mark.

Missing the duo against Watford is a huge blow, and many consider the Hornets to be a dangerous banana skin as the Reds look to return to winning ways and extend their unbeaten run. Under Claudio Ranieri for the first time, those at Vicarage Road will be eager to impress up against Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool side.
