Jurgen Klopp discusses impact of losing home advantage in second leg v Arsenal

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has discussed what impact losing home advantage in the EFL Cup semi-final with Arsenal will have.

Tomorrow night was meant to see the Reds host Arsenal at Anfield for the second leg of their EFL Cup semi-final clash but, of course, that is not the case.

Indeed, we've instead seen the first-leg from last week postponed to this one and that means tomorrow's game at Anfield is now the first of the two matches, with the Reds having home advantage first instead of second.

What that could mean for the result remains to be seen, of course, though there is usually a preference to have the second game at home as you know what result you need and the home support can help you get it.

Klopp has had this to say:

"With the power Anfield can produce, it will make a difference playing away from home in the second leg."

Anfield Watch Verdict

We all know what impact the Anfield crowd and atmosphere can have in these two-legged games, particularly in Europe, and having the second leg at home would have been a nice bonus but, of course, sometimes fate gets in the way.

The Reds, though, will still feel as though they can win this tie and can use tomorrow's game to try and get themselves a good advantage.

Make no mistake, Anfield will be rocking all the same tomorrow.
