Jurgen Klopp discusses Divock Origi's fitness and future at Liverpool
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has said that Divock Origi remains injured and unavailable for selection but that he finds it hard to see the Belgian leaving the club in the middle of the season.
The forward has never really managed to force his way into the starting line-up at Liverpool but he has still had some iconic moments.
Big goals against the likes of Everton, Barcelona and Tottenham have all fallen his way in his Reds career, but it's probably natural that he wants to be playing more than he is.
Indeed, he is being linked away once again this month in the transfer window but Jurgen Klopp has suggested he finds it unlikely that the striker will be moving away in the current market.
Anfield Watch Verdict
You would not envy Divock Origi getting a chance elsewhere to start playing more football but mid-season it seems surely unlikely Liverpool will let him go.
The Reds' squad isn't very big as it is so to let a forward go in the middle of it when we know he can contribute from the bench doesn't make much sense.
Money may talk if a big offer comes in but for now we can see the forward remaining at Liverpool.
