Jurgen Klopp delivers fresh injury update on Harvey Elliott

Jurgen Klopp has said that Harvey Elliott could be back available for selection after the coming international break.

The young midfielder started the season in the side, looking well at home in the team as well it must be said.

However, his campaign was disrupted pretty brutally with a horrible ankle injury sustained against Leeds United, and he has been out for a fair few months.

He returned to training this week, though, and a playing return seems to be around the corner as well:

Anfield Watch Verdict

Elliott will be itching to get back playing and it sounds as though in training he is already doing a good job.

The Reds need to be careful with him, of course, but he appears a robust player and so after the internationals they may have no qualms in getting him back involved.

Certainly, the Reds' coaching staff have full faith in his ability to come straight back in once fit enough.
