Caoimhin Kelleher - 7/10

Didn't have loads to do, making one very simple save in the first half and a good double save to maintain the Reds' clean sheet in the 85th minute. His distribution was a tad disappointing throughout the match.

Trent Alexander-Arnold - 6.5/10

Defended well, and created a few chances for Liverpool going forward. Trent combined well with Ryan Gravenberch at times to hold Bayer Leverkusen at bay. He took a freekick from a dangerous position in the 36th minute but it was deflected off the wall for a corner. He narrowly blazed one over the bar in the 71st minute but if he had scored it would have been ruled out for an offside in the build up anyway.

Ibrahima Konate - 7/10

Konate seems to have bounced back well from the injury he suffered against Brighton. He defended solidly, often covering for Trent at right-back.

Virgil van Dijk - 7/10

A vintage Van Dijk performance, with some great defending and a long pass over the top to Mo Salah as highlights.

Kostas Tsimikas - 6.5/10

Tsimikas has looked decent again today, he didn't have loads to do defensively but kept Frimpong quiet throughout, bar a close call when a Frimpong goal was ruled out for a clear handball in the first half.

Ryan Gravenberch - 8/10

Gravenberch did, once again, what he's done for the Reds all season, winning the ball a number of times and helping Liverpool progress up the pitch, whilst also offering support to his backline.

Alex Mac Allister - 5/10

Struggled to make a meaningful impact on the game, he looked exhausted and out of his depth at times during the match. A very disappointing display from the World Cup winner.

Curtis Jones - 9/10

Full of energy and constantly ready to press, Jones had a great game, often looking like the Reds' most dangerous player and providing the assist for Diaz's goal. Jones bought the fireworks to Anfield on Bonfire Night.

Mohamed Salah - 7/10

Looked the sharpest of the front three despite being the only one who didn't score, Liverpool struggled to produce many meaningful chances in the first half but it was Salah's cross which saw Cody Gakpo double the Reds' lead only minutes after they scored their first. The Egyptian King also provided the assist for Diaz's second with another fantastic cross.

Cody Gakpo - 7/10

Gakpo had a quiet match up until he doubled Liverpool's lead in the 63rd minute. A bullet header from close range saved the Dutchman's game as he had otherwise been a bit disappointing.

Luis Diaz - 9/10

After a quiet first half, Diaz broke the deadlock with a cheeky dink in the 61st minute, keeping cool under pressure and timing his run perfectly for Jones' pass. Diaz also netted Liverpool's third in the 83rd minute after getting on the end of another Mo Salah cross. Diaz topped off his night with a hattrick in the 92nd minute, a fantastic night for the Colombian.
