Liverpool Owner John Henry at Anfield for Liverpool vs Brentford
John Henry is in attendance at Anfield as Liverpool welcome Brentford for the beginning of their home campaign.
The Liverpool owner will oversee new manager Arne Slot's competitive Anfield debut as he looks to extend his winning start with a victory over Brentford.
Slot's side got off to the perfect start with a 2-0 win over Premier League newcomers Ipswich Town last Saturday courtesy of second-half strikes from Diogo Jota and Mo Salah.

The Dutchman was praised for his flexibility and ability to adapt after a disappointing first-half at Portman Road. The introduction of Ibrahima Konate and a tweak to his set up saw Liverpool produce a dominant second-half display.
Konate is the only change Slot has made to his side with Jarell Quansah settling for a place on the bench following a minor knock sustained earlier in the week.
Curtis Jones has been ruled out of today's game with a minor injury.
Luis Diaz reaches a milestone for Liverpool today with the Colombian set to hit a century of games for the club after arriving from Porto in 2022.
FAMILIAR FACES ON THE BRENTFORD BENCH
Liverpool have been very inactive in the summer transfer window in terms of incomings but the Anfield side have seen many players debart the club.
Two of those will be spotted on the Brentford bench today with Fabio Carvalho and Sepp van den Berg completing permanent deals to The Bees in search of regular game time.
Both youngsters impressed for Liverpool during pre-season but opted to bid farewell to The Reds with regular minutes not being guarenteed at Anfield.
Per DaveOCKop, Carvalho was told that he wouldn't have gotten much game time in the USA if Cody Gakpo had been available.
As for Van den Berg, the Dutchman found himself behind Virgil van Dijk, Konate and Quansah in the centre-back ranks and after impressing on loan at Mainz last season, a £25 million move to Brentford seems a very good deal for all parties.
