Jack Wilshere raves about Liverpool 29-year-old
Former Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere has recently praised Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah.
The Egyptian international has had a brilliant start to the 2021-22 campaign. Salah has scored 15 goals and registered six assists in 14 appearances for the Reds.
The 29-year-old is also averaging a WhoScored player rating of 8.18 in the early stages of the new club campaign.
With that being the case, Wilshere believes that Salah is currently the best player in the world.
As quoted by The Anfield Talk's Twitter account, Wilshere told talkSPORT the following: “Salah is the best [player] in the world right now."
ANFIELD WATCH VERDICT
We have to agree with Wilshere's comment. Salah is on another level to everyone else right now.
To be fair to the winger, he has been exceptional for Liverpool for a number of years. Salah has found the back of the net 140 times and registered 53 assists in 217 appearances for the club's first-team.
The Egyptian international has also won the UEFA Champions League, UEFA Super Cup, FIFA Club World Cup and Premier League title with Liverpool.
Salah will be remembered as a legend of the Reds.
