"It's so hard to pick" - Jordan Henderson names the two best players he has played with

Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson has named the two best footballers that he has ever played with.

The midfielder said that he has taken to the field with a lot of great players.

But, Henderson further added that Luis Suarez and Steven Gerrard are the two best footballers he has ever played with.

“I have played with a lot of great players, it’s so hard to pick a single great player from the countless I have played with,” he told the Liverpool Echo.

“Looking back across my whole career I would say that I would have to say Luis Suarez or Steven Gerrard.

“Both were absolutely sublime players and it would be so hard to pick just one.”

Suarez was a serious footballer for Liverpool. The striker scored 82 goals and registered 47 assists in 133 appearances for the club's first-team.

Gerrard was also a terrific player for Liverpool. The midfielder found the back of the net 186 times and secured 153 assists in 710 appearances for the Reds. Gerrard won nine major trophies with Liverpool.

So, it's not hard to see why Henderson rates both Suarez and Gerrard so highly.

We do miss watching the Uruguayan and the Englishman represent the Reds. They were special players after all.

But, Liverpool have moved on since their departures. Football doesn't stand still at the end of the day.
