Liverpool new-boy Fabio Carvalho has given his thoughts on playing alongside Harvey Elliott again.

Both players recently made the move from Fulham to Anfield. With that being the case, Carvalho and Elliott played alongside each other before arriving at Liverpool.

The 19-year-old had the following to say about being reunited with the Englishman.

"It’s just amazing. We’ve grown up together, we’ve gone to school together, being together every day – school and then training, doing sessions," Carvalho told the club's official website, as quoted by AW on Twitter.

"From then to being here now is just surreal, but we’re here to do a job. As much as we’re at a top club with top players, we’re here to help the team win games and win trophies. That’s the most important (thing).”

Anfield Watch Verdict

Carvalho and Elliott are the future of the club. They are both very good with the ball at their feet.

Carvalho and Elliott also bring energy to a game of football. Both players featured against Manchester United at Old Trafford on Monday night.

Carvalho and Elliott played reasonably well. But, the Reds lost the Premier League clash 2-1.

Carvalho and Elliott are 19 years of age. Therefore, they could represent the club for at least a decade.

Also, both Carvalho and Elliott have plenty of room left for improvement, which is obviously exciting.

Hopefully the attacking midfielders have long and successful careers at Anfield.
